MyPrize closes $21M raise for online multiplayer casino

The news: Social casino startup MyPrize has raised $21M in new funding at a $250M valuation cap, bringing its total capital raised to $38M. The round included backing from previous lead investors Dragonfly and Boxcars Ventures, alongside several major family offices. The multiplayer-focused platform, which launched in 2024, lets users wager and play casino games alongside creators, streamers, and friends.
Zoom in: MyPrize says it’s now on track to surpass $100M in annual revenue and reach profitability by the end of 2025—an impressive milestone for a company in just its second year of operation. The new capital will go toward onboarding more creators, expanding into new markets, and enhancing the player experience through its AI-driven engagement platform.
Why it matters: As online entertainment becomes more social, speculative, and creator-led, MyPrize is betting big on multiplayer mechanics and cultural relevance over traditional casino play. Founder Zach Bruch says the company is “ushering in the golden age of online entertainment,” and investors seem to agree—backing its vision with a valuation that puts it in rare air for a startup just a year post-launch.
OddsLogic founder Rick Allec is now building his third data business. Here’s what he’s learned in nearly 30 years

The news: With less than a month until the NFL season kicks off, Rick Allec and his team at OddsLogic are putting the final touches on a product that’s been three years in the making. But for Allec—a three-time founder in the sports data space—the focus of his latest venture isn’t about reinventing the wheel. For OddsLogic, it’s about listening to users, building the products they’re actually asking for, and improving on what already works.
Zoom in: Allec’s first product dates back to the pre-internet era, when real-time odds were sent to pagers. Since then, he’s built and sold SportsOptions and Don Best, two foundational tools in the space. While the betting industry has evolved, his mindset hasn’t: manage every penny, build for the user, and keep things simple. “I’m not here to tell people what they want,” he said. “I’m here to build what they tell me they want.”
Why it matters: For all the buzz around innovation, Allec believes most bettors are still looking for the same thing they always have: a fun, simple experience. “Don’t reinvent the wheel,” he said. “Don’t assume that people are betting sports thinking, ‘I wish there was a different way to bet sports.” OddsLogic’s approach is a reminder that great products often come from doing the basics better—and knowing your customer cold.
